‘কিপিং ভাগাভাগিতে মুশফিক-সোহান দুইজনই খুশি’
দীর্ঘদিন পরে জাতীয় দলে ফিরেই জিম্বাবুয়ে ও অস্ট্রেলিয়ার বিপক্ষে টি-টোয়েন্টি সিরিজে দুর্দান্ত পারফরম্যান্স প্রদর্শন করেন উইকেটরক্ষক ব্যাটসম্যান নুরুল হাসান সোহান। সেটির প্রতিদান পাচ্ছেন আগামী ১ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে শুরু হতে যাওয়া নিউজিল্যান্ড সিরিজেও।
সিরিজ পূর্ববর্তী সংবাদ সম্মেলনে টাইগারদের প্রধান কোচ রাসেল ডমিঙ্গো জানান, পাঁচ ম্যাচ সিরিজের প্রথম দুই টি-টোয়েন্টিতে উইকেটরক্ষকের দায়িত্ব পালন করবেন সোহান। পরবর্তী দুই ম্যাচে গ্লাভস থাকবে অভিজ্ঞ মুশফিকুর রহিমের হাতে। তবে পঞ্চম ম্যাচে উইকেটের পেছনে কে থাকছেন তা জানাননি তিনি। ইঙ্গিত দিয়েছেন, প্রথম চার ম্যাচে যার পারফরম্যান্স সবচেয়ে ভালো হবে তিনিই থাকবেন।
দায়িত্ব ভাগাভাগি কিংবা নিজেদের নতুন করে প্রমাণের এই ব্যাপারটিকে ক্রিকেটাররা কীভাবে দেখছেন এ নিয়ে বেশ আলোচনা হয়েছে ক্রিকেট অঙ্গনে। টি-টোয়েন্টি অধিনায়ক মাহমুদউল্লাহ রিয়াদ অবশ্য জানালেন, দায়িত্ব ভাগাভাগি নিয়ে মুশফিক বা সোহান অখুশি নন, বরং দুজনই খুশি।
সিরিজ পূর্ববর্তী সংবাদ সম্মেলনে রিয়াদ বলেন, ‘মুশফিক দলের একজন সদস্য। সে দারুণ একজন সতীর্থ। সোহানের সাথে কিপিং ভাগাভাগি করতে পেরে সে খুশি। মুশফিক খুশি, সোহানও খুশি। সোহান ইদানীং অনেক ভালো করছে। মুশফিক তো কয়েক বছর ধরেই ভালো করছে। কাজের চাপ ভাগাভাগি করে নিলে দলের জন্যই ভালো হবে।’
মুশফিকের মত সিনিয়র ক্রিকেটারকে নিজের যোগ্যতা পরীক্ষায় বসতে হচ্ছে দেখে দলে অস্থিরতা কাজ করছে বলে অনুমান অনেকের। রিয়াদ অবশ্য জানালেন, এই সিদ্ধান্তে খুশি দলের সবাই।
