ঝিনাইদহ-২ আসনের সংসদ সদস্য তাহজিব আলম সিদ্দিকী সমি দ্বিধা দ্বন্দ ভুলে ঐক্যবদ্ধ ভাবে আগামী দিনের নির্বাচনগুলোতে নৌকা প্রতিকের প্রার্থীকে বিজয়ী করার আহবান জানিয়েছেন। তিনি বলেন, দেশ আজ উন্নয়নের সহাসড়কে। দেশ বিদেশে এই সরকারের সাফল্য ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। আওয়ামীলীগ ছাড়া উন্নয়নের কোন বিকল্প দল বাংলাদেশে নেই। উন্নয়ন ও অর্থনৈতিক সাফল্যতায় আজ আমরা বিশ্বের যে কোন দেশের সঙ্গে টিক্কা দিতে পারি। তাহজিব আলম সিদ্দিকী সমি শনিবার ঝিনাইদহ সদর উপজেলার মধুহাটী ইউনিয়ন আওয়ামী লীগের আয়োজনে বাজার গোপালপুর স্কুল অ্যান্ড কলেজ মাঠে এক কর্মী সভায় প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে এ সব কথা বলেন। ওয়ার্ড আওয়ামীলেিগর সভাপতি আলমগীর আজাদ সম্রাটের সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠানে ঝিনাইদহ সদর উপজেলা আওয়ামলীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক শহিদুল ইসলাম হিরণ, মধুহাটীর চেয়ারম্যান ফারুক আহম্মেদ জুয়েল, সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান হরিশংকরপুরের ফারুকুজ্জামান ফরিদ, বিকাশ কুমার, কুমড়াবাড়িয়ার সামছুল ইসলাম, সাধুহাটীর রেজাউল মন্ডল, গান্নার তোফাজ্জেল হোসেন বিশ্বাস, হলিধানীর চেয়ারম্যান মতিয়ার রহমান, সুরাটের চেয়ারম্যান কবীর জোয়ারদার, ফয়েজ প্রমুখ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠান শেষে আগত কর্মীদের বিরানীর প্যাকেট দিয়ে আপ্যায়ন করা হয়।
