গ্রুপ পর্বের শেষ রাউন্ডে বায়ার্নের বিপক্ষে খেলবে বার্সেলোনা এবং অপর ম্যাচে মুখোমুখি হবে বেনফিকা ও ডায়নামো কিয়েভ। এখন শেষ ষোলোতে যেতে হলে বায়ার্নের বিপক্ষে বার্সার জিততেই হবে। কিন্তু দলটির সাম্প্রতিক ফর্ম জয়ের পক্ষে কথা বলছে না। তার ওপর ম্যাচটি বায়ার্নের মাঠে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। ফলে গ্রুপ পর্ব থেকেই বাদ পড়ার শঙ্কা রয়েছে সাবেক চ্যাম্পিয়নদের।
