ঝিনাইদহ জেলা আওয়ামলীগের সহ-সভাপতি ও সাবেক ছাত্র নেতা আব্দুল খালেক
ঝিনাইদহ পৌরসভার মেয়র পদে নৌকার প্রার্থী মনোনীত হয়েছেন। শুক্রবার দলের
মনোনয়ন বোর্ড সভা শেষে এই সিদ্ধন্ত নেন। এছাড়া সুরাট ইউনিয়নে কবীর
হোসেন জোয়ারদার ও পাগলাকাইনা ইউনিয়নে দলীয় চেয়ারম্যান প্রার্থী হিসেবে
ঝিনাইদহ পৌরসভার প্রশাসিনক কর্মকর্তা আসাদুজ্জামান চানকে নৌকার
প্রার্থী করা হয়েছে বলে অসর্থিত সুত্রে জানা গেছে। তবে দুইটি ইউনিয়নে
মনোনয়ন পরিবর্তন হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা উড়িয়ে দেওয়া যাচ্ছে না বলেও অনেকে মন্তব্য
করছেন। এদিকে ঝিনাইদহ পৌরসভার চেক জালিয়াতির হোতা প্রশাসনিক
কর্মকর্তা আসাদুজ্জামান চানকে নৌকার মনোনয়ন দেওয়ায় দলের মধ্যে সমালোচনার
ঝড় উঠেছে। আসাদুজ্জামান চান দলের কোন নেতা ছিলেন না বলে অনেকেই দাবী
করছেন। অথচ কি ভাবে তিনি নৌকার মনোনয়ন পেলেন এ নিয়ে প্রশ্ন উঠেছে।
বিশেষ করে ফেসবুকে দলীয় নেতাকর্মীরা সরব হয়ে উঠেছেন।
