প্রবাসীর আর্থিক সহযোগিতায় হাঁসি ফিরেছে আতিয়ারের পরিবারে

ভ্যান পেয়ে হাসি ফিরেছে আতিয়ার রহমানের পরিবারে। যা সম্ভব হয়েছে এক বিদেশ প্রবাসীর আর্থিক সহযোগিতায়। বুধবার (১৪ সেপ্টেম্বর) সন্ধ্যা রাতে ওই প্রবাসীর পক্ষে ভ্যানটি তাঁর হাতে তুলে দেন প্রথম আলোর ঝিনাইদহ প্রতিনিধি আজাদ রহমান।
জানা যায়,গেল ১ সেপ্টেম্বর রাতে ছিনতাইকারীরা আতিয়ার রহমানের ভ্যানটি ছিনিয়ে নেন। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছিল কোটচাঁদপুরের ঘাঘা- জালালপুর মাঠের রাস্তায়। তাঁর হা-পা চোখ বেধে রেখে ভ্যানটি নিয়ে যায় তারা। বিষয়টি নিয়ে সে কোটচাঁদপুর থানায় লিখিত অভিযোগ ও করেন ২ তারিখে। তবে আজ পর্যন্ত ভ্যানটির কোন হদিস পাননি পুলিশ।
এদিকে ভ্যান হারিয়ে আয় রোজগার বন্ধ আতিয়ারের। ওই ভ্যানটি ছিল তাঁর আয়-রোজগারের একমাত্র অবলম্বন। ভ্যান চালিয়ে যা আয় হত তা দিয়ে চলত দুই প্রতিবন্ধী ছেলে -মেয়ে নিয়ে তাঁর সংসার। ভ্যান হারানোর পর কোন রান্না হত তাঁর সংসারে।
তাই কয়েকদিন ধরে পাশের বাড়ি থেকে চেয়ে এনে মুখের অন্ন জোটাচ্ছে প্রতিবন্দী ছেলে-মেয়ের আতিয়ার ।
বিষয়টি নিয়ে ওই সময় কয়েকটি পত্রিকা ও অনলাইনে সংবাদ প্রকাশিত হয়। এটা দৃষ্টি গোচর প্রথম আলোর ঝিনাইদহ প্রতিনিধি আজাদ রহমানের।তিনি বিষয়টি আলোচনা করেন এক প্রবাসীর সঙ্গ। তিনি এ ভ্যানটি কিনে দিতে সম্মত হন।
বুধবার সন্ধ্যা রাতে ভ্যানটি তুলে দেয়া হয় আতিয়ার রহমানের হাতে। আর এ ভ্যানটি ওই প্রবাসী পক্ষে তাঁর হাতে তুলে দেন,প্রথম আলোর ঝিনাইদহ প্রতিনিধি আজাদ রহমান। ভ্যান পাওয়ার পর আতিয়ার রহমান বলেন,ছিনতাই হওয়া ভ্যানটি ফিরে না পেলেও আপনাদের মাধ্যমে যে ভ্যানটি পেয়েছি, সেটা পেয়ে আমি খুশি। আমি আবার আয় রোজগার করে আমার প্রতিবন্দী দুটি বাচ্চার মুখের আহার জোগাতে পারবো।
