প্রাণিসম্পদ সেবা সপ্তাহ ও প্রদর্শনীর উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধানমন্ত্রী
প্রাণিসম্পদ সেবা সপ্তাহ ও প্রদর্শনীর উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত হয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা। বৃহস্পতিবার (১৮ এপ্রিল) সকাল ১০টায় শেরে বাংলা নগরে পুরাতন বাণিজ্য মেলার মাঠে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত তিনি।
অনুষ্ঠানে মৎস্য ও প্রাণিসম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয়ের প্রাণিসম্পদ অধিদফতরের পক্ষ থেকে ১৮ থেকে ২২ এপ্রিল দেশব্যাপী প্রাণিসম্পদ সেবা সপ্তাহ ও প্রদর্শনীর উদ্বোধন করবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করছেন মৎস্য ও প্রাণিসম্পদমন্ত্রী মো. আব্দুর রহমান।
১৮ ও ১৯ এপ্রিল ঢাকার আগারগাঁও এর পুরাতন বাণিজ্যমেলার মাঠে প্রাণিসম্পদ সেবা সপ্তাহ ও প্রদর্শনীর অংশ হিসেবে মোট ৬ টি সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। সেমিনারের মূল বিষয় থাকবে- প্রাণিসম্পদের বর্তমান অবস্থা, ভবিষ্যৎ ভাবনা এবং করণীয়, ক্লাইমেট স্মার্ট ডেইরি সেক্টর, এন্টি মাইক্রোবিয়াল রেজিস্ট্যান্স ও খাদ্য নিরাপত্তা, পশুপাখির রোগ-বালাই নিয়ন্ত্রণসহ অন্যান্য বিষয়।
প্রদর্শনীতে ফুড সেফটি কর্নারে নিরাপদ খাদ্য প্রস্তুত ও করণীয় সম্পর্কে সচেতনতামূলক কাযর্ক্রম যেমন- ব্যক্তিগত পরিচ্ছন্নতা, নিরাপদ খাদ্য-সামগ্রী প্রস্তুত ও প্রক্রিয়াজাতকরণ, সংরক্ষণ বা গুদাম জাতকরণ, পণ্য পরিবহন ও গ্রাহক পর্যায়ে বিতরণ পর্যন্ত সার্বিক পরিচ্ছন্নতা ও বিশুদ্ধতা নিশ্চিতকরণ এবং দুধ, ডিম, মাংসজাত নিরাপদ খাদ্য পণ্যের প্রদর্শনী ও বিক্রয় করা হবে।
প্রাণিসম্পদ প্রদর্শনীর পুরষ্কার বিতরণী ও সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠান পুরাতন বাণিজ্য মেলার মাঠে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে ১৯ এপ্রিল। আর প্রাণিসম্পদ সেবা সপ্তাহের সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠান আগামী ২২ এপ্রিল রাজধানীর খামারবাড়ির কৃষিবিদ ইন্সটিটিউট অডিটোরিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
